Who Can Attend?
Scout Day is open to athletes born between 2015 and 2019 who are interested in playing baseball next season.
This event is ideal for:
- Newcomers to the sport
- Current Byron or Oakridge House League players interested in learning more about playing Tincaps' REP or SELECT baseball

Byron Optimist Sports Complex

Activities
Players will be grouped by age and participate in a variety of drills, including:
- Hitting
- Throwing
- Agility
- Running
- On-field exercises
Each age group session will last approximately 2 hours. The final schedule will be posted on the Tincaps’ website by September 1, 2025.
What to Bring
Please bring:
- Glove
- Jock/Jill
- Baseball cap
- A filled bottle of water
- Helmet (if you have one)
- Bat (if you have one)
- Good attitude
Additional Information
- No cost to attend Scout Day
- Register by August 10, 2025 to receive a free t-shirt
