Tryouts for the Major Peewee 2005 (13u) Tincaps team have now been posted.
Anyone interested in trying out for the 2018 Major Peewee Tincaps (13u) must be registered with the association prior to March 15th. Please go
HERE to complete your online registration (payment via PayPal is required - have your credit card ready).
Those selected to be part of the 2018 Major Peewee (13u) team will also be subject to a competitive fee of $300 (in addition to the base registration fee of $250), payable to the Tincaps Association. Note - team fees to cover tournaments and sundry items will be additional - and determined after the final team is selected. Anticipate a further $200-$300 - dependent on fundraising options chosen by the parent group - to be discussed at the parent meeting prior to the season.
There will be THREE tryouts, all held at Centrefield Sports. The cost for the tryouts is $40 per player, to cover the facility fees (cash preferred, payable at the first tryout).
Tryout #1 - Thursday March 15 - 5PM-6:30 - 1/2 Field (Fields 1&2 - Front 1/2)
Tryout #2 - Thursday March 22 - 6PM-7:30PM - 2 Batting Cages (Cages 1 & 2)
Tryout #3 - Sunday March 25 - 3PM-4PM - 1/2 Field (Fields 1&2 - Front 1/2) PLUS Batting Cage 5
Equipment required for the tryouts include athletic clothing, clean running shoes (no cleats), ball hat, batting helmet, jock/jill, glove, and water bottle. Feel free to bring a bat if you have one, but the Coaches will have some, and may recommend a different bat than the one brought if deemed more appropriate.
